Recognised Graduate

This is a temporary visa for graduates of recognised overseas universities with skills in demand in Australia.

Holders of this visa will have unrestricted work and study rights and can apply for a permanent skilled visa or employer sponsored visa at any time.

Main Criteria

This visa will initially be restricted to graduates with a bachelor degree or higher qualification in engineering from a recognised university .

• You must not have held a 476 (Recognised Graduate) or a 485 (Skilled Graduate) visa before;
• You must be aged 30 years or under at the time you apply;
• You must have completed a degree course or higher in engineering in the past 24 months;
• You must have Competent English;
• You will be required to meet health, public interest, character and special return criteria.
